Foundations in Personal Finance

Please note that the homeschooling version has a Christian aspect to it. They also sell to Public Schools. I called and they are willing to sell their homeschooling bundle and substitute the workbook for the public school edition which does not contain the Christian aspect. You should not buy through their website you will need to call (888)227-3223 (ext. 2000 not sure if you need this exact extension) and request the Homeschool Foundations in Personal Finance Teacher/Student pack with the public school edition workbook substituted. We have not used this program yet but would like to. Some friends of ours took it in public school and said they learned a lot. I have used Dave's suggestions on his website & newsletters including his Gazelle zero budget. This would probably be a great class all students should take before leaving high school. I am not affiliated.
UPDATE: July 2015- I bought this for my son, no problem with getting the right textbook, I called and told them I wanted the homeschool bundle but wanted the textbook substituted with the public school edition- it came fine. So far we are enjoying the class. January 2016- CW completed the class and thoroughly enjoyed it- learned a lot.... best class for all high school students (parents too!).

Driver's Education
Do you need to take Driver's Education and want to get a discount with your insurance company. We found out that Allstate in Florida does not give a discount for taking FLVS Driver's Education. They do however give a discount if you take Teen Smart. Other insurance companies listed that give a discount with this class are: Mapfre, AAA NCNU, and Liberty Mutual.
